About Me


My research interests include cybercrime, internet censorship and information systems security – I have been a speaker at several national and international conferences, and have published articles in academic and trade journals. I am in the editorial board of Journal of Strategic Information Systems, and Systèmes d'Information et Management (Journal of the French AIS Chapter).

I am currently co-Director of the Risk chair and Associate Professor in Information Systems at the Sorbonne Business School. I am associated with several initiatives at the Harvard University, Europol and Gendarmerie Nationale on cybersecurity awareness and training. Associate Professor

I am co-Director of the Risk Chair, and Associate Professor at the Sorbonne Business School. My research spans information systems, criminology, and strategic management. I published in academic journals and presented my work at the best conferences in IS and management (see my Google Scholar Profile for more information). I am also contributor to the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Harvard University, since 2012. Read my academic blog for more details.

Europol Expert

Accredited Cybercrime Expert, and member of the Advisory Group of the EC3 European Cybercrime Centre at Europol. I also undertook several research for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), European Commission, European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), in particular on online money laundering and its new trends (Featured in Wired, The MIT Technology Review, The WSJ, etc).

Innovation in the classroom

I am lecturing Cybersecurity and Information Systems for MBA students, at the Sorbonne Business School and the ESSEC. My lectures frequently include (role playing) games, innovative teaching methods and real world case studies. My students contribute to a joint awareness project with the Harvard University on cybersecurity awareness: the Journal of Strategic Threat Intelligence (Work in Progress).

Consultant

I was IS Group Cybersecurity Officer at Orange where I managed strategic cybersecurity projects, undertook strategic risk analysis and cybersecurity research (Security by Design, international code security program, awareness campaigns, etc). I am consulting in the field of cybersecurity (ad fraud prevention, risk analysis, security strategy, anti money laundering).
